Microplastic Free UK is a free resource. This site does not currently earn revenue from product links. We link directly to UK retailers so you can verify and purchase products yourself. We do not receive commission, referral fees, or any other payment when you click a product link or make a purchase.

How We Link to Products

Product links on this site go directly to UK retailer websites (Amazon UK, John Lewis, Boots, Ocado, and others). These are standard links with no tracking codes or affiliate parameters. The price you see on the retailer's site is the standard price — it is not affected by how you arrived there.

Our Independence

Our product ratings and recommendations are not influenced by any commercial relationship. Our vetting process is based entirely on ingredient and material analysis against publicly available data. We do not accept payment from brands to include or rate their products.

Products are selected and rated based on our vetting methodology, not on any commercial consideration. We recommend products we believe are genuinely microplastic-free based on available ingredient data.

Future Monetisation

We may introduce affiliate relationships in the future to help cover hosting costs, research time, and ongoing product verification. If and when we do, this page will be updated to clearly disclose the nature of those relationships, and pages containing affiliate links will carry a disclosure notice.
