How We Link to Products

Most product links go to Amazon UK and carry our Amazon Associates tag, which is how the commission is tracked. Some links go directly to other UK retailers (John Lewis, Boots, Ocado, and brand websites); a few of these are affiliate links and others are plain links that earn us nothing. Either way, the price you pay is the standard retailer price — it is not affected by how you arrived there.

Our Independence

Earning a commission never influences our product ratings or recommendations. Our vetting process is based entirely on ingredient and material analysis against publicly available data. We do not accept payment from brands to include, rate, or promote their products.

Products are selected and rated based on our vetting methodology, not on any commercial consideration. We recommend products we believe are genuinely microplastic-free based on available ingredient data, and we include products that contain microplastics — which earn us nothing — purely for comparison.
